My Story

Molecular Beauty was founded by Maria Alexandra Ardila, a full-time molecular scientist. Established on the ideals of individualism, skin health & wellbeing, Molecular Beauty offers beauty products for everyone to enjoy.

As a scientist, I often desired to create skincare products that are full of love, science, and wellness. I believe healthy skin is the most beautiful skin, it is our largest organ and it supports the life of all our other body parts. It makes sense to take care of our skin with products that replenish it and fill it with rich nutrients. 

Passionate about health, nutrition, and wellbeing, I founded Molecular Beauty on the values of transforming people's skin through the knowledge I've acquired over my years as a scientist. Offering people a healthier, more natural alternative. Having learned about aromatherapy, organic chemistry for organic and natural formulations; I identified active ingredients based on their natural healing powers, such as green tea, Rosehip oil, Marula oil, and Jojoba oil. Along with natural fruit and herbal extracts added to nourish, detoxify and revitalize your skin.

I wanted to translate the beauty I have learned from my grandmother, who has continued to teach me about medicine ever since I was a child. A hardworking doctor, mother, and wife, who always manages to maintain radiant, silky skin. It is to her that I owe all my beauty secrets, healthy skin, and well-being.
